Programs
Cirrus House offers
opportunities to improve the lives of clubhouse members
through:
The Community Support, Day Support and Day
rehabilitation Programs are designed to provide these services.
Community
Support
The Community Support Program promotes the
ability of members to function in the community. Members receive
assistance locating suitable and affordable housing. They also have
opportunities to learn basic living skills, find appropriate medical
care and receive support in a variety of other areas. Members select
a Community Support staff to help with their needs. The member and
staff create and implement a plan designed to meet those
needs.
Day Support
Day Support is a less intensive service than Day
Rehabilitation. Members in Day Support have opportunities for
socialization and recreational activities. Day Support is frequently
utilized prior to or after participation in Day
rehabilitation.

Work Units Cirrus House
revolves around a word ordered day. A work environment provides for
all parts of a person's life - skills, interests, relationships.
CLubhouse work is real and meaningful because it arises from the
actual needs of the members and the functioning of the
clubhouse.
Each member develops a plan with their Personal
Advocate that meets the member's goals. Some of the unit work
includes:

Transitional
Employment Cirrus House
strongly believes that members should have the opportunity to return
to paid employment. The Day Rehabilitation Program promotes
Transitional Employment (TE) which provides part time, time limited
positions that belong to Cirrus House. TE can be a stepping stone
from volunteer work in the clubhouse to competitive employment. It
provides a chaconne for every Cirrus House member to experience
success, personal pride, and earn money at the same time. The club
offers total coverage for the employers with back-up by clubhouse
staff.
